District Grants are available to Clubs each year to fund small-scale, short-term activities that address needs in your community and communities abroad. Projects are required to address at least one of the six areas of focus of The Rotary Foundation. The total amount of available funds varies each year depending on the level of Annual Giving in D9455 three years prior. It is therefore in our interest to ensure that all Clubs provide regular support of The Rotary Foundation.
 
The following are provided as a guide in identifying suitable projects for District Grant applications:
Projects must be completed within the given Rotary year and project reports and receipts are to be provided to the District committee prior to the end of the Rotary year.
Grant funding will be to a maximum of a dollar for every dollar contributed by the Rotary Club.
Grant funds will only be provided on provision of receipts. (i.e. Grant funds will not be provided in advance of projects works being undertaken).
Grants may not be used to reimburse clubs for activities and expenses already completed or in progress. Planning for grant activities prior to approval is encouraged, but expenses may not be incurred.
