These awards will recognise researchers, from Western Australian universities, who have completed an excellent PhD thesis in the mental health field. Outstanding contributions promoting understanding of mental health (or knowledge of mental illness prevention or treatment) will improve the lives of many in future, in Western Australia and elsewhere.
We hope these awards will help create a catalyst promoting better health outcomes, a peer network building diverse mental health expertise in WA, and ongoing research excellence well into the future.
To submit a nomination, the nominee's Head of School or Department should email all the required documents to arhwateam@gmail.com by 30 November for best PhD conferred in the previous 12 months. Click here for more details on the award and nomination requirements.
This initiative is championed by Perth Rotary's Dr David Preece and the ARH WA team. Other Rotarians with relevant vocational expertise would be most welcome participants in fostering and promoting this project.
