Swan Valley Rotary and friends made a great start to the 100 hygiene packs we have made each year since 2014. They are distributed by the Perth Chapter of Days for Girls International, a grassroots Not For Profit organisation creating a better future for girls by providing advocacy, reproductive health education and sustainable feminine hygiene products.

A DFG kit lasts for three years and allows a girl to attend school every day of every month. Girls who complete 7 years of school are more likely to marry later and have fewer children, improving their chance of escaping poverty. The team also took the opportunity to present Penny Hooper and Karin Maltby with Paul Harris Fellow awards, recognising the huge contribution they make to DFG and other projects. A big thank you to everyone who came on Sunday, and we hope to see you again on the 17th March.
