Welcome to the Rotary family to a dynamic new club...Beaufort Rotary Club. Beaufort Rotary Club is an inclusive, diverse and progressive club, which chartered in July 2018.
We are proud Rotarians who aim to be representative of our local community and forge new ways of offering service above self.

Our tagline “Positive Change Through Collective Action” has a double meaning. It refers to the outcomes of our projects when we collaborate, share ideas and value each other’s input. It also refers to the personal growth and inspiration that comes from being in an active Club with likeminded people, and taking that inspiration out into the world to spark positive change in others.

We don’t see ourselves as fortunate people helping those less fortunate. We see everyone as having strengths and challenges, in a society that generally favours some groups of people above others. We want to be valued allies and partners in projects where solutions are led at the relevant community level.

We have already undertaken a few community service and fundraising activities, ranging from an eco-market for Greenbatch (WA’s first plastic reprocessing plant), to a textbook drive for students who are refugees, to Bogan Bingo. But we have also been exploring community issues with other experts and organisations, strategic planning, and embarking on a journey of Aboriginal cultural development, as we work out where and how to best focus our efforts going forward.

Everything we do involves the whole Club – projects, club planning and development, courageous conversations – are all highly participatory. We are and always will be member driven.

We are actively involved in the Rotary family – with other Clubs and at District level. Please let us know what you are up to that might be of mutual interest, and conversely, keep your eye on our website. Our members are enthusiastic and keen to engage. We look forward to meeting you!
